I might need to go back and try to catch up on those I have missed. It sounds like he has kept the series alive and interesting.Monte Herridgenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-499247432649483938.post-58002122692368694682012-12-23T16:20:38.864-05:002012-12-23T16:20:38.864-05:00Agree with both of you -- Pronzini manages to give...Agree with both of you -- Pronzini manages to give his series plenty of variety while not straying too much from what made the series popular. Something that falls between, like Pronzini, who tries to give as much variety as he can to the series, cannot be processed by such minds.Patrickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01844617192737950378noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-499247432649483938.post-70190313116226934712012-12-23T11:45:48.473-05:002012-12-23T11:45:48.473-05:00According to Pronzini, he keeps pushing his charac...According to Pronzini, he keeps pushing his characters in new directions and vary his storytelling (from locked rooms to full-blown thrillers) to keep the series fresh and fun to write. To keep pushing yourself after a successful, four-decade career is the real astonishing feat here. The only problem that I've got is that he doesn't seem to have a British publisher, so whenever I buy his stuff it always has to be off the internet. Why doesn't anyone want to publish his stuff over here? (grumble,grumble,grumble)Sextonblakenoreply@blogger.com
