It was the kind of "solution" that had me staring at the book and thinking, "Seriously? I'm supposed to buy into this?"Barry Erganghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04305184548497082776noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-499247432649483938.post-76346575730315324802012-04-25T00:57:59.799-04:002012-04-25T00:57:59.799-04:00An excellent book, though the crappy solution to t...An excellent book, though the crappy solution to the impossible disappearance REALLY annoyed me.Bob Houkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16982822149146722008noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-499247432649483938.post-84382494858233972192012-04-24T01:23:32.832-04:002012-04-24T01:23:32.832-04:00Another of the classic writers that I still haven&...Another of the classic writers that I still haven't got round to. Richie is another triumph. He's an eccentric, but a believable eccentric. More than just a collection of odd habits, you feel at the end of the book that you might almost recognise him if you met him in the street.Sextonblakenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-499247432649483938.post-62509785695441147392012-04-23T12:25:29.238-04:002012-04-23T12:25:29.238-04:00This has always been one of my favorite Allinghams...This has always been one of my favorite Allinghams, Patrick. It's worth the effort.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
